Happy Friday to you friends. It is so hard to believe that it is already September 4th-I know where my days have gone but it still amazes me how quickly each day passes. We are in the final stages of finishing up trim etc before we move in; each day as hubby works around the house I am busy at work unpacking dishes, setting up the kitchen and in general fluffing my nest. We are gearing up to be moved in by next Thursday and I'd love to say we can then kick back and just relax but we will have to thoroughly clean the rental home we've been in and also finish getting things into the right rooms etc. Every time we drive west we gaze up at the Rockies and look forward to the days that we will be able to spend up there taking photos of the changing season. If you noticed my small photo of golden Aspens-it was from last year and I don't believe the colors have turned yet. According to The Old Farmer's Almanac we are in for a very wet and cold winter with more snow than we had last year.
This weekend is already jam packed with activities and next week will be equally busy.
Enjoy your weekend-go enjoy the outdoors.
Blessings, Noreen

Hi Noreen,
ReplyDeleteI know you must really be looking forward to next Thursday. Then you can maybe take a lil rest, course it will probably be longer
if you have to take care of the old
place. That is always the worst part for me cause I want to be working on the new place!!
That pic of the Aspen trees is gorgeous, we have never seen trees turn that color. How neat!!
Will be praying for you to get finished up quickly so you can just spend some time enjoying your new home. Have a great weekend hon,
Blessings, Nellie
I'm so glad the house is now becoming a home for you. Can't wait to see the beautiful pictures you take. I love the fall when the leaves turn their brilliant colors. Have a wonderful long weekend. Hugs my friend.
ReplyDeleteHappy Labor Day!

Oh how wonderful it will be to nest again in your own place. That's very exciting! I can't believe how you guys moved to CO from CA; such a different environment. I kind of miss the seasons living here in Phoenix. You know I grew up in NY so we had seasons. I'll email you shortly but I'm glad to read of your progress friend.
ReplyDeleteYou must be so glad there is an end in sight. I too am looking forward to the leaves changing, but not to the winter. I keep hearing it is going to be cold and snowy. We never made it up to the mountains last fall to see the aspens, but are planning to do so this year. Hope you have a great weekend.
ReplyDeletePraying for you dear sister and your hubby as you start anew in your new home and location. Oh the joys GOD has planned for you.
ReplyDeleteLove and hugs!
