Happy Birthday Little One

In our family, birthdays seem to occur for several people in the same month so it was no surprise last September that our youngest grand daughter made her entrance into our family two days before her cousin's birthday. It is hard to believe that this sweet baby girl is already one; she brings so much life into our family. She is truly a mama's girl who loves to snuggle-just like her mom when she was little. She has the sweetest temperament, a requirement with two older sisters and she is so active that it makes us shake our head and wonder what the world will hold for her and what types of adventures she'll participate in.
Cousins looking on.

Our dear son-in-law is very gifted artistically and decorates all the cakes for his family. He made the leaves and pumpkins from Marzipan...doesn't this cake just scream "fall".
Hubby and I are so incredibly blessed by our daughters, their hubbies and of course by each and every grand child. What a wonderful life we have!
Happy Monday to you.
Hugs, Noreen

  2. What a precious little sweetheart she is! Your son-in-law is artistically talented in the cake that he created. Our daughter graduated from pastry chef school, so we now have a new appreciation for beautifully decorated cakes.

Families are such a joy, and it looks like you are all having a fun time together.

    Happy Monday to you!

  10. What a pretty cake. It looks like a great BD celebration. I can't figure out how they get so big so fast. She looks a lot like her sister I think. I haven't heard from Marlene yet...so we will get something figured out soon (o:

  11. Hi Noreen,
    Your grandaughter is so cute!
Amazing how the time does fly, seems like I get up and do a few things and it is 2pm.- don't get as much accomplished in a day as I used to, that is for sure!! I feel like the Lord is, honestly shorten the days!!
Tell your sil that we ladies are very impressed with his cake decorating skills. That cake is adorable!! We lived in Germany almost 40 yrs. ago and they use a lot of marzipan to decorate their stuff. They do some amazingly beautiful decorations. Anyway,
Loved his lil pumpkins, so detailed. Bet your daughter just loves that!!
Sounds like you have such a wonderful family, what a blessing they are! That is the way it is suppose to be!
Well, you have a great day hon,
    Blessings, Nellie
