I am so blessed and thankful by the spring weather we are having this week; blue skies and spring warmth with the promise of more to come.
I am thankful that there are wholesome alternatives to t.v. when little ones are sick. Yesterday while at my girl's house helping with her sick kiddos, we watched videos of Little House On The Prairie. Both of our daughters and their hubby's have chosen not to have cable or t.v. access and it is a blessing for them. I love that there are good old fashioned movies the girls can watch instead. They were episodes I hadn't even seen before. Made me realize maybe I need to add them to our kid collection of videos. I also mentioned Ann of Green Gables and also Christy; I think the moms sometimes enjoy the videos more than the little ones.
I am thankful that other than a nagging headache I haven't been hit as hard as the kids with this flu.
I am thankful that this too shall pass.
I am especially thankful for my dear friends in blogland.
What are you thankful for today.
Be blessed.

ReplyDeleteHey sweetie! Sorry you got the flu...I've already had it myself, and was in bed for three days straight. UGH!! Glad it's not too bad, though.
ReplyDeleteI am really pooped!! Keepers was fun, but the girls were so hyper!!
And this morning I started a new exercise video that has me sore already!! SO...I'm about to hit the sack, I think.
Sleep tight...praying that God will touch you and take the flu bug away!!
Blessings,
Becky
