Spring Things

Many years ago I found five of these cute little bunnies at a local drugstore. They reminded me so much of Beatrix Potter and were cute plus cheap so I bought them. This last week, hubby and I went antiquing and I came across five more. Now while I was looking at them I thought the ones at home were much bigger but I decided to get them to add to my Easter/Springtime collection. Imagine my surprise when I got home and realized they were part of the collection. So now they all sit on my dining room buffet.
At the same store I came across this cute tablecloth that was in excellent shape and knew I had to get it for our kitchen table. My grand kids will love it! It is so fun to bring a touch of spring inside.

There is an old saying about March coming in like a Lion and going out like a lamb but the last two days has been more like March going out like a Lion. We had beautiful weather here over the weekend, in fact it was so nice that I sat outside and read in the sunshine. Yesterday our normal wind was back and not only had the temperatures dropped but the wind was ferocious. At one point I actually thought about the opening scene with Judy Garland in Wizard Of Oz where the house is spinning. Today is more of the same with a slight chance of snow; feels like a good day to stay in.

Hope you are enjoying whatever weather your area has. If it is cold, just remember the promise of warm spring days; spring is right around the corner.

  1. I love your bunnies! Just love them, and I am a fan of Potter so those are just perfect.

  2. Dear Noreen ~

The bunnies are just adorable ~ what a nice collection you have! Yes ~ I think your grandchildren will enjoy the cheery tablecloth! Lovely touches of spring! It is cold and gray here ~ I am looking forward to some sunshine and working outdoors!

Have a sweet and blessed day,

  3. Your bunnies are so cute.

Our weather...we had a thunderstorm on Sunday. Now we are getting a winter storm, with freezing rain now turned to snow and winds. It's going down to -17C tonight.

    have a super day friend.

  4. Is everybody feeling better? How is Peanut? WIND...I know...I tried to go for a walk and just couldn't take it. The Barn Sale was fun. We didn't buy anything but some Country living magazines for 25¢. They also own the Country Crow Craft store in Higiene.

  5. Just love your Easter decorations and tablecloth. It's so nice to be thinking spring! We are getting cold temperatures and lots of wind, no snow yet although I hear it's coming again. Blessings, Heather

  6. What an adorable collection!

We received 6 inches of snow last night but at this time of year, it SHOULDN'T last long -- I hope :o)

Blessings to you and your family!

  7. OOps I forgot to warn you about the high winds we had in Calif. Almost blew my fillings out. Should have given you a heads-up they were headed your way!!!

I am putting in an order for fair weather by May!!!
