Good Morning to you!  Today, I am thankful for two days of rain; it reminded me so much of northern California. There is snow in the mountains, which is fine if it will stay up there.  It will be here before you know it and I'd love it if it could hold off until Thanksgiving.  Don't get me wrong, I love it if I can just stay inside sewing or other activities.  Speaking of winter activities, yesterday hubby and I went to the movies and saw Matt Damon in Martian.  I had no idea what the story line was and it was hubby's choice of the movie. WE stitch on and off, one will be a girl flick and one a guy flick.  I thought it was quite an interesting movie and his acting good.
Today I am off to the dermatologist, just for good measure to make sure there is nothing I need to be concerned about.  I hope you all have a great day.

  1. Hi Noreen! We saw the trailer for that movie when we were out, and my husband wants to see it too. It would be interesting to see Kristin Wiig in a non-comedy role too.

My daughter and family are coming in this weekend, so the house will be full, and that's always fun. We're so lucky to see them as often as we do.
    Happy Thursday!

  2. Hi Noreen., We sure could use a good soaking rain here...our lawn looks awful. Nice you got a well needed rain. It's good to have indoor activities when the weather's bad. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  3. We have that rain coming in tomorrow. We could really use some rain, but we sibes would prefer some snow:)

Mom and Dad saw The Martian a couple of weeks ago and thought it was very well done. Matt Damon is a very good actor.

  6. I'm afraid I don't have your sunny outlook about the rain. It turned into a very sloppy snow up here. No fun at all! But at least the fire danger has been doused.

I hope your appt went well. With my Irish skin, I have to do those appts too.
