Celebrate

Happy Monday to you! I hope you had a lovely weekend; we did. Last Wednesday, one of our granddaughters celebrated her 10th birthday. As you may remember, this Nana took her out shopping for a outfit(shown at the end of the post); however, the family gathered Saturday morning for breakfast. I love how our girls mix it up with parties.  Here is our sweet birthday girl, Miss F.
Carrie made a apple-blueberry crisp for dessert-in lieu of a cake.  It was so good, it was finished off by the end of the morning. This is a definite keeper; I plan to make it soon.

Of course, you don't see her shoes or purse but this outfit looks so cute on her.  On Saturday, we were able to give her three pairs of pierced earrings; in fact, one pair was the pair her mom used when she got her ears pierced and another pair were from my sister to her mom, but never worn.
We are so incredibly blessed with our family~our daughters, their hubbies, our grands and my brother and sil as well as hubby's family. Got to love this life.
Today will be a quiet day-some miscellaneous cleaning, sewing and finishing my homework from last week. Our weather is deary here and it's a good day to stay inside.
Joy to you!
Noreen

  9. That crisp looks so yummy! Your granddaughter is so adorable, but I'm sure you already know that (what grandma doesn't think that her grands are the most adorable).
