Tuesday's Thoughts

As the saying goes, this photo is a "day late and a dollar short", since of eclipse happened Sunday night and it's already Tuesday. Within miles of each other, my daughters got clear views of the eclipse and blood Moon, but we had a lot of cloud cover. It was beautiful just the same!

When hubby got up for work this morning at 5:00 a.m., he came back and told me it was raining(raining, we only get rain here in the summer). Rain is in the forecast for the week, but that also tells me many of the colorful leaves at higher elevations are probably on the ground now. Bummer, we were going to drive up on Friday to check out the Elk and also the colors. Speaking of elk, on last nights news they had a photo of a man right up next to two bulls-I couldn't believe how close he was. Well, he probably learned his lessons because he was gored by one of the bulls. He is lucky to be alive!
Today, I'm off to my study and will have a quiet afternoon-maybe I'll get to the sewing machine. I haven't sat down in front of it for over two weeks, just too many other things going on. I'm thinking once the weather changes, I'll be ready for many days inside.
Have a great day my friends~

  1. We had a lot of cloud cover during the eclipse as well but we were able to get some photos. We have rain scheduled for the next week as well, so it looks like I'll be doing some inside stuff as well. Hope you have a nice week

  3. It was fun to step outside on Sunday night and visit with my neighbors as well all watched the supermoon/eclipse go from bright/red/bright. God's might hand is all I can say. So happy you enjoyed some happy birthday time, it's nice that your family can 'share' birthday's! Have a super week! Blessings, Cindy
