It's Thankful Thursday; is your cup overflowing with gratitude? Here at Nananors, I try to cultivate a grateful heart daily. Some days are easier than others, but life is a blessing. Last evening we had our youngest daughter, sil and family over for dinner; it was a spur of the moment decision, but so fun.
Hubby bbq'd ribs, we got fresh corn on the cob from our farm stand, they brought a salad and we enjoyed the first watermelon from our oldest daughter's garden(since they are away, they told us to pick). It was so sweet and juicy-so good.
The grands played hide n seek outside til it was time for them to head home. We love having them over and hope to enjoy more dinners here this fall. Both dogs love all the kiddos, but I'm sure Lily is missing her family. After everyone left, hubby and I sat outside on the deck enjoying the evening and sunset; this is what the pups did.
This shot was taken on hubby's phone~the sky doesn't look as brilliant here, but it was beautiful.
I'm getting ready to walk with Kam and then I'll have a few hours at home before picking up another friend and heading to the movies to see War Room. I'm hoping to get downstairs today as well.
It's another beautiful day in northern Colorado and I'm thankful to be enjoying it.
Blessings to you this day.
