Good Morning to you~well this morning the skies are clear and sunny and we are up to 11 degrees. Wow! After yesterday's lows, it will be quite nice out today. Yesterday, we ran over to our daughter's house to work on some Christmas photos(this is not the one), but I wanted to show you what winter in Colorado is all about. Another thing we've learned about our house is that we get condensation on the wood windows every morning(ice too), so we've taken to wiping them down each day. I'm hoping this will be the only really bad cold snap this winter. As for the small bits of ice, I'm thinking we may need to keep the temp up a little higher.
Yesterday's sewing went really well; I decided to shorten the time to an hour, which may or may not continue. Last night, we had one set of grands over while mom & dad went out to dinner. We watched The Dog That Saved Christmas; I must admit it got me in a Christmas mood. If you haven't seen the movie, by all means look for it. It is similar to Home Alone, but the story of a dog who literally saves the day.
I hope you are all enjoying the weather, regardless of what the temps are.
Joy to you!

ReplyDeleteLove the photo of you and your husband, sounds awfully cold up there, hope things warm up soon, it is after all only November...I'm not ready for winter quite yet.
ReplyDeleteWe had snow mixed with ice(?) back home ... DD reported that it made for some treacherous driving. Glad things are heating up for you ... hope the temps continue to rise. We get a little condensation on the inside of our windows too. I wonder what that means?
ReplyDeleteGood morning! It's so funny to this California gal to read of so many who are already experiencing such cold. Mel had snow yesterday. It was a dreary overcast day here yesterday, but we got up to about 65. I was so glad we were at least that chilly. Some were running around in leather coats and boots pretending it was cold. This gal was still in capri pants and a 3/4 length sleeve knit top, lol. Enjoy your week-end Noreen!
ReplyDeleteOh I forgot....I LOVED that picture of the two of you!!
