When Irish Eyes Are Smiling

Good Morning to you! I hope you all had a great day yesterday; we had a great day that was topped off with Corned Beef, Cabbage, Potatoes and Carrots. So good, but I felt like I ate to much. Got to cut back before vacation; today our weather is cold, windy and snowy, so I doubt I'll get out to walk. My daughter  texted this pic to me yesterday and I loved it! One of our granddaughters decided to try on a wig and hat that my brother and sil had sent out. Actually, Sue always sends the greatest surprise boxes out and it is always a thrill to see what she sent. This lass certainly looks Irish, doesn't she?

Not sure what our day holds today~possibly a movie, if there is anything good out. Hope you have a wonderful Tuesday; it's a great day to be alive.

  1. What a sweet little cutie patootie, Noreen!! Love the green hair & hat!! :)

I don't know why but your blog isn't updating on my blog feed, on the right side of my blog page. It says the last entry from you was 4 days ago but alas, it's not. You've posted a few since then. I tried deleting your blog from my feed & adding it again but the same thing comes up. I'll just have to know to check your blog anyhow, no matter what the feed says.

Did you end up going to the movies? We went to the show last Friday evening & saw "Non-Stop". That was a pretty good movie.

My hubby & I went, along with our 26yo son & 16yo Caboose... and I made sure the content of the movie was going to be ok for Caboose (I'm rather a stickler about movie content!) but man oh man, the previews of movies to come were AWFUL!! I have never in all my life seen so much sexually suggestive clips & downright immorality in my life... and these previews are supposedly approved for all ages? I was very disgusted & VERY close to walking out before the movie even started! If it hadn't been for the 4 of us getting together to go to the movies... something we hadn't done in *years*... I would have indeed walked out. It's going to be a looooooong time before we ever go to the movies again. I'll rent a movie & watch it at home, in order to avoid the ugly previews, instead. *sigh*

Spring is on its way... can you tell? :) Enjoy your vacation!!

    Blessings~ Andrea
