When the whole family is together, there are 17 of us. Saturday morning the kids decided to play hide and seek; who better to help find hiding spots than the adults. As a child, I was a winner at finding places to hide-probably because I was so small and could squeeze into every spot. So I helped our grands find some wonderful spots. Here is our sweet Miss A. hiding in an upper cupboard in the kitchen; even the older boys couldn't find her.
One of the dads had to help this little one get up on the top of the kitchen cupboard-but she wasn't found either. Our oldest grandson hid on the top of the beam below with the lights, no one could spot him.
This little one hid on top of the refrigerator. Another great hiding spot.
The game was such fun!!!! I think all the kiddos are going to want to play whenever they are together. Hubby and I also went and watched 11 grands go to the indoor rock climbing gym. It was also so much fun! Afterwards, hubby and I went into town and visited one of my favorite stores-I didn't buy anything; we also went into the Glass Blowers studio and watched the owner make a lovely candy dish.
Hunter, Lily and Petrol had a great time while we were away. It is reassuring when you have someone who loves dogs taking care of your dogs.
We are supposed to have one day of snow this week, but also one day is supposed to get up to 65 degrees. Tomorrow hubby and I plan to go check out the Trader Jo*s that opened down in Boulder; don't know whether we will get anything or not, but it will be nice to have this store in Colorado.
Hope you have a day filled with contentment.
Joy to you~

Sounds like my perfect kind of week-end! Lots of fun with the little ones, sweet conversations, and memories made. Glad you enjoyed! Hope your week is good!
ReplyDeleteI was the same way when I was a kid....loved Hide & Seek.....I usually found a cupboard that I could push stuff aside and hide in. So weird....now I hate tiny spaces!
ReplyDeleteAnd at Trader Joe's....I can't live without the Whole Grain Dijon Mustard! I buy 6 at a time! It's very kicky....almost a horseradish flavor....a little goes a long way....but a sandwich just doesn't work for me now without it! lol
Looks like you had a great time and I know the kids enjoyed it! I love my Trader Joe's and they had a new red wine blend this week which is really nice and smooth. (2BuckChuck)

So they got roads repaired to get up to Estes? What a fun game...very creative hiding spots. Next time we are in Colorado I need to get to Boulder. I love blown glass. We are fatigued today but it's looking up. I am so ready for the cold to be over.
