Say What?

I hope you have a cup of hot coffee, tea or cocoa in your hand this morning; here in northern Colorado the temps, plus wind chill, are between -10 and -20.  Brrr is all I can say!  Last night, during the night, Hunter decided he wanted to go outsid,e but I knew how frigid the air would be and worried about his paws getting stuck to the ice-so he didn't go out.  I put him right back on the bed and he curled up and went back to sleep.  At least it is blue skies this morning, but the weatherman said that without the cloud cover the temps would remain where they are.  Hubby is off at Pickleball and so my morning will be filled with whatever I need to get done in regards to chores.
I'd love to just sit and read today as I've got two books I need to post about, but I think the vacuum is
calling my name.
I think the entire country, other than the desert, is suffering extreme winter weather.  May your days be warm and filled with joy!
Hugs,
Noreen & Hunter

  1. We didn't get quite as much snow as was forecast nor did we get the freezing rain/sleet they were forecasting. So although the roads were still pretty treacherous this morning, they're fine now ... so all in all, we didn't fare too badly.

I'm going to get caught up on my blogging (reading and responding to emails) and then I'm going to spend the afternoon quilting ... the perfect activity for winter weather, IMHO! ;-)

  10. That hot cocoa wish is in order here today. Overnight we had a dusting of snow (about 6"), and today it's stunningly beautiful. It'll be gone by tomorrow, though. The marine influence here is much too warm for it to stick around long.

Enjoy your vacuum & book time.

    Blessings,
    Kathleen
