Dreaming of Spring

Many of you are in the throws of a deep freeze and your weather makes our -7 degrees this morning seem quite warm. I had hoped that we would be getting up to the mountains to snowshoe, but truth be told, it is just too cold. We will be going up for a weekend this month, but for now staying inside is my choice. Even Hunter is not wanting to spend a lot of time outside. So, although I do love the beauty of the snow, right now my mind is dreaming of a warmer place. In fact, hubby isn't the only one who is counting down the days til we head back to Kauai. Whatever weather you are experiencing, I hope you can daydream of a climate that makes you smile and yet be thankful for the blessings in your life. I am so thankful that we have a furnace and don't need to trug out to the woodpile, amidst the frigid temps.
Joy to you~

  5. We actually have some rain and cool temperatures today too. Nothing like the rest of you, but I have been downright chilly. Your picture looks soo good. Good thing spring and summer ALWAYS follow huh? Keep warm and enjoy your dreams of warmer weather coming.

  6. We have experienced our first touches of winter over the past few days. It is in the lower 60's, cloudy and in the 30 overnight. I'm enjoying every moment because all too soon it will be summer an 120*. Stay warm :)

Thanks for that last line.....I need to remember, as I'm sitting her shivering, that it could be worse! lol Hubby and I were out yesterday, and as we drove around, we were both agreeing that if we can manage it at all, next winter we will be in FL! We haven't even been skiing yet this season.....way TOO cold for this princess skier!! :o)

  10. Feeling very thankful for a warm house, indoor plumbing, electricity, and dogs who yes, want and need to go outside, but then are happy to snuggle when we get back in the house! :)
