Happy Friday

It's almost the weekend; are you ready to have some fun? Our day is pretty relaxed, of course every day is relaxed when you are retired.  Going walking shortly-got to keep it up.  We had about 40-50 kiddos last night that came to the door; hubby decided at the last minute that we should give out candy.  Each year is different for us; last night he gave it out and Hunter and I watched t.v.  At 8:30, he turned off the lights and that was it.  There are so many interesting shows on t.v. this season; so many twists and turns in the shows we watch; they always keep us in suspense.
Our weekend will be low key too.  I hope you have a fabulous day today and a weekend that makes you smile.
Hugs, Noreen and Hunter

  1. Last night me and Stanley helped pass out candy. The doorbell would ring and so we alerted our pawrents and we all would run to the door. Then me and Stanley would stop barking and sit and then get a treat while the kids got a treat too. We always finished our treat first so then we would run over and wag our tails at the kids. Mom said this was training. Whatever it was we liked it!

  2. Have a wonderful weekend too. We had three trick or treaters. The first time in my whole life living out here. I have always bought candy, so I was very glad this year.

  3. In 15 years, we've had one family trick-or-treat, and they called before coming over! It's too rural up here for door-to-door.

I'm actually glad about it now that we have Shyla. We've discovered that she's terrified of humans in costumes. It's not surprising, since she just recently started being comfortable with strangers who were dressed normally!

Anyway, Happy Halloween to you! Enjoy your weekend.

  5. Like Kim, we had 3 trick or treaters. Not very many kids in our subdivision and it's probably too small for parents to truck their kids here for trick or treating. ;-)

  7. We don't have trick or treat kids here, so our Halloween was quite.
