Happy Friday Friends~Yesterday our oldest daughter, Carrie, and her family went camping; when we got Hunter the plan was to trade dog sitting and so Lily is here with us for two days. Let me tell you that they may be small, but when you get two little fluff balls chasing each other, size doesn't matter-it's just a lot of fun.
I think Hunter & Lily played for a solid two plus hours yesterday and I finally had to give Hunter a rest time in his crate. Throughout the evening they would go outside and play tag, doing circle after circle. It was fun but I had no idea how bedtime would go. At home, Lily sleeps with her peeps too; my concern was that our Hunter would want to play all night. Lily did give him a couple of "knock if off"growls but they settled and slept all night. I am so refreshed after a good nights sleep. I'm taking them for a walk in a minute or too and then later today they will have some quiet time while hubby and I go check out the camp site that the family are at. Thankfully, it is only an hour away, makes a nice drive.
On another note, do you all remember back in January when our youngest granddaughter sported a purple cast? It wasn't that she broke her arm but that her wrist was extremely weak; well come Saturday she will be sporting a cast for real-she has a buckle fracture that is very common in young children. Hopefully, her bones will strengthen and there won't be any more troubles after this.
We are now off to the lake; hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs, Noreen & Hunter

Such great fun for Hunter and Lily!
ReplyDeletePoor little one, no fun being fasted in the summer. Mom says she thinks kids have more broken bones these days than before.
Happy weekend.

Hunter is having a par-tay, huh? Me and Stanley play like that for hours on end. MOST of the time we are ready to switch off at bedtime but there have been a couple times when mom and dad had to physically keep us apart so everybody could go to bed. Luckily, it only takes a couple minutes and we are tired enough from all the playing that we go to sleep. Have fun Lily & Hunter!!

Oh Noreen, I love your account of the playing fluff-balls. What a joy it must be to watch them.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your granddaughter. Hope her wrist heals quickly.
BTW A belated 'happy 4th July' wish.
Hope you had fun on the day.

ReplyDeleteThese two are so precious, Noreen, I know you are having a ball with them. Enjoy your ride, and I will be praying for your granddaughter.

Glad the doggies had such fun. Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteI hope your grand daughter heals relatively quickly.. Im sure it's no fun for her to be dealing with this for so long.. The little dogs are precious.. I have 7 dogs and 4 of them are Lhasa Apso's and I always say the smaller the dog the bigger the attitude.. They believe they are giants.. LOL

Glad Hunter has a playmate for a couple of days. I love it when my friend Belle gets to stay with us. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,

I am enjoying getting to know you and your family, Noreen; you life is full with grands and your dog(s), just like ours. I will pray for your granddaughter's wrist to heal quickly and completely. That must be hard on a little one who wants to be active! I love the dogs - so cute, and they are good company for each other.
ReplyDeleteYou asked where we live; we live in SE Montana in a valley, about 50 miles from the Beartooth Montains. We moved from our small town last November, but it was only a 15 mile move. We are now in Billings where my husband works, so he no longer has to drive in each day, and it saves me from the drive in to run errands and go to appointments. We are adjusting to downsizing and missing our old home!
Have a wonderful weekend, Noreen,
Laurie

Aren't they adorable!!
ReplyDeleteHello there! Hunter is absolutely adorable, of course I'm biased because I do love Bichons! I agree, they may be small but when they go off on one of their blitzes never underestimate their size. I'm following you now also, thanks for stopping by my blog :) I don't know if I can give you too many training tips, most likely you can just learn from my mistakes (ie don't leave tissues and shoes in their eye sight- ha!)
ReplyDeleteBest,
KSO
