Well, I have to say yesterday's doctor appointment was the first one, at least that I can remember, that I enjoyed. The gal is wonderful~besides telling me I didn't need to lose weight(which I do), she said I was doing everything right. When I shared the vitamins and supplements I take to help stay healthy she said it was the list she gives her patients. How refreshing it was that she just didn't want to push more prescription medicines on me. I loved her!
One of the things that gives me great joy in life is spending time with those I love. As you know our youngest is pregnant, 7 mos to be exact and is now on a restricted activity level due to a recurring problem. So this mom and nana gets to go over in the mornings and help out with the kiddos-make lunch, prep for dinner, chores and whatever she needs. What joy for me! Just hope I don't get on her nerves. In the afternoon and evenings I am continuing to work on the quilt; I will post photos when it is done. It is nothing really fancy or complex but it is filled with love and prayers for this little girl soon to be in our family.
We've got blue skies here today and although it's cold, it is incredibly beautiful.
Have a joyful day!

  1. Praying for your daughter and her unborn baby. I know you enjoy your time with the gran-kids. I cherish my time with our granddaughter and look forward to our next grandchild.
    Blessings, andrea

  2. Noreen, woohoo for the good report from the doctor. I know you must be getting excited to have another new life in the family. Each child brings its on set of joys to our lives. Praise God. We will be in prayer for your daughter, that things will go well for her these remaining few weeks.

  3. Great to enjoy your Dr. appointment.
I really need to make one....missed a year at least because my Dr. retired (All of ours seem to be doing that) and I can't settle on one. Tell me sometime what supplements you are taking. Sounds like you will be busy for awhile. Praying that everything will be alright
Is this the daughter that still lives real close to you? Enjoy the little ones.

  4. It is fun to take care of our daughters (again) and to play with our grandchildren.

It's cold here 5* winter has returned.

  5. Oh how this post blessed me for some reason. Glad to hear all went well at the docs. It is refreshing not to have drugs pushed at you. I will pray for your daughter's safe delivery and look forward to seeing the completed quilt. Have a wonderful day. It is beautiful here too.
