Friday Fun

I thought today would be a very relaxed day in which I could spend ample time sewing and cleaning house but not so. This morning I've got an appointment to get my hair cut and colored at a new gal's place. I'm excited but a bit concerned too, because when we first moved here I went to a very expensive salon and came out with a horrid color and cut. I'm not one to part with money easily when it comes to hair so it will be interesting to see how well I like my new place and what my family thinks about my cut and color. After all, it is just hair and will grow back but I don't like wasting the resources we have-stay tuned for my opinion tomorrow. Tonight we are going out to dinner with our neighbors who are good friends; afterward I'm sure we'll play dominoes-probably Mexican Train. Love that game. We are supposed to be getting more snow but I hope it waits until Saturday because I don't like to be out and about in it.
What ever you're doing, enjoy your day and give thanks with a grateful heart.

  1. We love playing Dominoes...we play Chicken Feet. It's a riot.
    Have a wonderful day friend.

  2. Good luck with the hair. I have never been able to color it in a salon. I put on the box(o:It is so hard now that it is long I make such a mess. We re going out too (o: Not sure if we will play something. Have fun!

  3. For us women, our hair is important. Yes, it grows back but the meantime. Good luck with your appointment.

  4. Not too long ago I went from long hair to a medium cut with highlights, and I wish I had my long hair back!! I hate spending the money to keep up with this...not sure what I'm going to do!!

Hope you get some real spring soon, sweet friend!! We're suppose to be getting a cold front Wed or Thur...crazy!! That might mess up my beach plans, although I'll go to the beach with a sweater and jeans on!! I just love being there!!

    Love 'n hugs,
