Warm and Cozy

Happy Tuesday to you all. The sun is out here and although it is only 25 degrees, it is nice and cozy inside. Hunter is not a morning dog at all, he sleeps in until we get up and then often heads back to bed after he's gone outside. Today I made a change of plans~you see my quilt on my wall is pulling at me to finish it so I decided that this semester I am staying home on Tuesdays to sew. I have so much to do on it and I don't want it hanging on the wall, like it is, for the next six months; I can't even imagine how long it will take to hand quilt. My little Hunter is happy to have me home, though he thinks we should be out walking. With temps like we are having, it will be this afternoon before we venture out.

I also need to take the bag of dry food back to the pet store and try another brand again. If I can't find one he'll eat, I think I'll just have to go back to the brand we were using. With dry dog food, under one brand there are so many different varieties and since he ate the old kibble, I may just have to go back to it. Remember the days when we all fed our dogs the cheapest kibble we could find-usually Pedigree or Purina. I know some folks, who are breeders and feed their championship dogs Pedigree~but they also are sponsered by them. I also remember when dogs regularly chewed on big knuckle bones to clean their teeth-no $400-500. dollar bills for it.
The things we will do for these little companions~I love our Hunter so much and can't imagine life without him.
Joy to you!

  1. I feel your pain! We our two sweet dogs, we are are picky about the dogfood. Sometimes, they don't like certain brands. Hunter is adorable. Hugs, Linda

  3. We hope you can find the perfect kibble for Hunter - it is not an easy task. We bet you will have that quilt done in no time. Nice to have a plan in place though.

  5. Mom says me and Stanley are "easy keepers". We do not know what that means. She also says we are "easy riders". Makes no sense. Tell Hunter hello for us and tell him we are sending a wag!
