Good Mornday friends. I hope you are well and embracing this new day! It would seem we just got out of Dodge, aka northern Coloado in the nick of time before the flooding started. In fact, if we waited another day our trip would have been cancelled. We've had a great time with family, spending the day yesterday inSan Francisco watching the Americas Cup sailing race; this was the reason for the trip. Hubby grew up sailing and this was a incredible event for him; I lo Ed it as well but not the crowds that made me feel like a sardine! Today we are headed for Carmel to spend time with our dearest lifelong friends. On Wednesday we head to our old neighborhood to spend time with our traveling buddies. I haven't had the Internet time I expected so haven't visited. Have a blessed day. Noreen

  4. I was thinking of you this morning, wondering if you were ale to leave in time. I'm glad to hear that you were able to get away.

We honeymooned in San Francisco/Carmel by the Sea. We'd love to go back, but since we'd have to fly, it probably won't happen.

    Enjoy your trip!

  5. Oh I love Carmel. We had a sail boat growing up, but glory, I can not imagine for the life of me sailing like those BIG BOYS. So glad you got out before it hit. We are heading out Saturday, praying the rain has stopped by then. Have fun!!!!!

  6. Hi Sweetie, Thanking God that you got out in time. Praying for all those who have been affected. How awful. I can't imagine.

So much going on here. I am sick to boot...have been for about a week. Couldn't hardly talk for a couple of days, and am swamped with orders that need to go out. Whew...just thinking about it wears me out.

Hope you have a wonderful time with your friends. I miss you...a lot...and will give you a call when you get back.

    Love and hugs,
    Becky

  7. Oh, and I grew up sailing, too. There are some small regattas on a local lake that I just love watching. Such great memories!
