"For I know the plans that I have for you,'declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11

Good morning friends and Happy September! I so love this picture and although I know it is much too early to see these colors, a girl can look forward to the changing leaves. We had a lovely bbq on Monday night with our daughter and sil, their five kiddos and their mini Schnauzer; to be perfectly honest though, having four dogs(even small dogs) running through the house made the noise level so much higher. Their pup Petrol and Bentley got along famously-no surprise since both of them are terriers. Hunter loves Petrol too; there weren't any arguments within the pack. Yesterday, Bentley went home and I can honestly say our house is so quiet now. Hunter and Lily play throughout the day but also have lots of naps. It feels so good to be back to normal!
I've tallied up our miles on bikes as well as walking for the summer months-here they are:
June: Bike rides total 96 miles, walk 13 miles (this is just walking Hunter, I think this number was fairly low).
July: Bike rides total 130 miles, walk 28 miles.
August: Bike rides total 85.50 miles, walk 45.50
Grand Total: Bike rides- 311.50 miles, walking 86.50 miles.
I am hoping to continue riding as much, but we will be traveling for a week so know I won't be clocking up the miles then.
As our season changes, I pray you will find delight in the cooler days, array of colors and blessings from above.
Hugs today! Noreen
