Happy Thursday to you!  I'm trying to make sure I'm having a positive and grateful attitude with all that has been going on here.  No snow today-thankfully, but we are supposed to get hammered again tomorrow.  Hunter looks adorable, as always; it is so much easier when he is groomed.   The only drawback having a white dog is that dog tags tend to turn the fur/hair gray almost immediately.  I've coated them with clean nail polish to see if that helps but it doesn't.  I thought about taking his collar off but I would need to put it back on every day for a walk.  I have also thought about making a small holder out of fabric for the tags but haven't gotten to it yet.
We are handling errands and household chores today. I'm hoping one of these days to get back to my sewing room but it  may be two weeks away.
I hope you have a wonderful day, filled with smiles and giggles.

  2. No snow for us today, just very cold. Hunter looks handsome. MOM always takes off my collar. I only wear it if we go out somewhere. So the rule is if I have to get in the Blazer or we take a walk in the neighborhood then I wear my collar. I love not having it on. I be all naked and I love it. Plus I know that something fun is going to happen when I hear my MOM pick up my collar and I come runnin to have it put on.
    Blessings,

  3. The place where our dog goes for doggy day care sells little cloth holders that go over the tags. They are probably available at other pet supply stores, but if you can't find them or get one made let me know and I can get one and send it to you.

  5. Rain and t-storms all night here but now it is cold and windy. We are hoping the wind will dry things up a bit so Mom will let us out to play longer and the lawn guys can come to mow the very long grass.

Hunter looks great. We don't wear collars because we get them hooked on the scroll-y fence or Lightning chews them off us. But you are right, they do make our necks dirty too.

I just spent a couple of hours cutting out all of my burp cloths...whew. Now hopefully I can get them sewn up this afternoon.

  10. Gorgeous picture of Hunter. It seems that light colour fur shows uP everything! Taking the tags off at night doesn't seem a good idea in case, somehow, he gets out. I can't think of anything useful that I can add re the tags. Lets face it its only a small thing compared to the great pleasure of his company! Joan

  11. I wonder if coating Hunter's tags in polyurethane would help?

Hoping that you will get back to your sewing room soon.
