Good Morning to you. Isn't it hard to believe that it is Thursday already. Among the sickness one daughters family has been struggling with and so graciously shared with this nana, there is still so much to be thankful for. I shared the other day that I don't believe in making resolutions, been there done that, but I do like having goals and aligning my thoughts with the Lord and His plans for this new year. How about you? Do you have hope, dreams, goals that you are putting before Him; asking for His blessing. That is the wonderful thing about being a daughter of the King-we can have fresh beginnings any time we need them; He doesn't hold our weakness against us, yes He may want us to change our attitudes but His love and grace are new every day. I'm so thankful for that!
It is a new day, so lift your head high and go forward in His love.

What are you sick with around there? I have a bad cough that kept me (and poor Rich) up all last night. I sure hope it is going to go away soon.
ReplyDeleteI decided I can set a goal for one month and it is much more doable for me. This month I am breaking the awful ice cream habit (o:
Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that the same thing happened to you that happened to me ... DD's family sick and shared with Nana.
ReplyDeleteStill, even with sickness, there's so awfully much for which to be thankful! Thank you for the encouragement.
Praying that you'll all be feeling better soon. Blessings!
I started the one goal a month thing a few years ago and it works really well for me. I like to see progress and this method enables that. Plus, I can do fun things (cross stitch for a month) or things I find to be a pain - giving myself 30 days to get the garage cleaned out is reasonable goal.
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon!!
