Birthday Fun

Two of our granddaughters have birthday within days of each other so their is always a family birthday celebration for them and due to hectic schedules the next couple of weeks, we had ours last night. Our missy turns 5, she is truly a princess and such a dear girl. She looks so much like her mamma and I love reflecting on days of old.

Little Miss Sunshine is turning two~where did the days go? One bundle of energy and activity, such joy.

Have you seen anything more beautiful than these blue eyes? Such a doll this grand is who loves to snuggle, which warms my heart.

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and that your week has started off well. I spent some time with a friend of mine who recently broke her foot; we were able to sit and talk about quilting and I even got to see one of her projects. Sitting on her deck in the warmth of the fall air was simply delightful and I look forward to more quilting fun with her.
