Oh yes, it is that day of the week already; do you make a point to give thanks continually or just when things turn out as you desire?
I am thankful for Lynn at Spiritually Unequal Marriage, who remind us to make this a habit in our lives.
Today I am thankful that nothing catches our Father unaware, nothing is out of His control.
I am thankful that He know my hearts desires, knows me better than anyone, He knows my fears and counts all my tears. I am thankful that He knows the weakness of my personality and the strength He has sown into me. He knows the promises I rely on and count as Truth. I am thankful that He knows that I trust Him and depend on Him when all else around me is spinning wildly.
I am grateful for the fact that He knows my laughter and joy and the things that bring me to this place. He knows all the days of my life and makes my path straight.
I am so thankful that He has blessed me so much, with salvation, with my beloved husband, my daughters and their families, my friends and of course getting to know all of you. For more thankful posts please visit Lynn @ http://unequalmarriage.typepad.com/
Be blessed today and give thanks.
Noreen

  4. Great post, Noreen.
Your previous post touched my heart. My son was also born 13 weeks early with pneumonia and suffered from a grade III brain hemorrhage after birth. (He's outside mowing the back yard right now, praise God!)
Two years before that another son was stillborn at 24 weeks when I got an e-coli uterine infection. My heart goes out to the family who lost the baby. Those of us who belong to the Lord can find great comfort in knowing we will be with those little ones for all eternity.

  6. Noreen,

I loved your post today and am so grateful that God is such a loving and forgiving God and realizes that while we are here on Earth, no matter how hard we try, we will never be perfect. Yet He loves us as though we are.

    Love and Hugs ~ Kat

  7. This was so good to read this afternoon. I was just thinking about Paul and Silas, even though they were in prison, they remained thankful and praising the Lord. Sometimes in the darkest of times, it's so easy to focus on our circumstances, and forget to thank the Lord for His goodness to us. He is still able to do so much more than we can ever dream of! Thanks for reminding us to be thankful! (Thanks also for your special comment you left on my blog. Just wanted to let you know that meant a lot and I whispered a prayer for you today.) :o)
