Happy Wednesday to you. Many of us blog about the outdoors on Wednesday so I thought I'd share how I'll be spending my day today. For the last two years my hubby has played in the Wyoming Open Golf Tournament, which begins tomorrow. He always goes up the day before, with the pro he plays with, for a practice round. Well this year I decided I'd like to go watch my man play since it is his all time favorite activity. The wife of the pro(both are good friends)is also a golfer so I will drive her cart and maybe putt a little. I am not a golfer, tried once but my back won't allow it, so I will be content to be outside. O.k. truth be told, last night another storm rolled in and the rain came, this a.m. looks like a cold and dreary day so I won't be soaking up the sun, as hoped, and will have to dress accordingly. It gets very windy in Wyoming so I'm not sure how fun this day will be, but hey I will be outside and since I was only in Cheyenne once, about 25 yrs ago, it should be fun to be up there.
On another note, a dear lady by the name of Sono Harris went home to Jesus on Sunday after battling cancer. When my girls were in high school, I met and talked with Sono at a Josh Harris conference and was impressed by what a godly women she was. Please keep the entire Harris family in prayer, although we rejoice at one of the saints going home, it is always difficult on the loved ones left behind.
Have a wonderful day~hopefully you aren't melting away in the heat and humidity or getting wet in the rain.
Til tomorrow,
Noreen

Enjoy watching your man play golf! Sorry to hear about the rain - unlike Wyoming, Georgia is baking in the sun. And guess what? Our upstairs air-conditioning unit decided to die 2 days ago...Deciding to praise the Lord anyway!!
ReplyDeleteIn response to your comment @ Life Lessons: It's so awesome to receive exactly what we need from the hand of our Creator! Thanks for the words of encouragement! You're a dear! Have a truly blessed day!

Good Morning Noreen sweetie...
ReplyDeleteOh my it sounds as though you are going to have a good time tagging along. I love driving the golf cart. That is my official job for my Hubby and Daddy when we go home and they go golfing. I love to tag along. I am actually learning a little about the game as they play along. Ask questions sweetie.
Rain did you say? What is that? I haven't seen that in a long time here in Phoenix.
I will pray for the family you have requested. She has no pain now, and she has entered the gates of our Heavenly Father. It is the hardest for the ones left behind. I will be remembering them in prayer. Thank you for sharing.
Have fun on the greens. Country hugs sweetie...Sherry
May God share all that Cheyenne has to give you today! Praying that you see Him in everything.
ReplyDeleteHope your day is fun anyway, Nor! You sure have the right spirit about it all!! I know John will enjoy having you along!! Sorry to hear about this death. I'm praying for the Harris family.

Hi Noreen....first of all, I am so sorry to hear of the death of your friend. Holding her family in thought and prayer.
ReplyDeleteNext...oh my, what my husband would not GIVE to play a tourny like that! He is such a golf fanatic. He is missing his game with his nerve damage right now. Have a wonderful time, and good luck to your husband! My friend is a pro photographer, and he was taking photos at Pebble Beach and took one of my husbands favorite golfer, Ernie Ells. sp? He had it framed and matted and gave it to us as a gift.
Enjoy your out of doors!!!
Noreen,
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping for some balance in the weather in your neck of the woods. Can you send some rain this way?
I am just content knowing we are not have the heat wave that the east is experiencing along with the humidity.
Please stop by my blog today and make sure you sign up for the giveaway that ends today. The book is a masterpiece in itself.
