A Few of My Favorites

Happy Tuesday dear ones, I thought I'd share a few more pic's from the garden tours I went on; I absolutely love Poppies-they are so vibrant and seem to scream "Life". Hubby and I are trying to find a garden plan for our back yard thus cutting down the lawn area and like the idea of a dry river bed area. Also, we found this bird house and since hubby makes them with his grandsons for presents, he wanted a photo of this one-isn't it so cute!
Today I began the morning walking about 3 miles with my close friend and was surprised that I wasn't sore at all after yesterday's 8 mile bike ride. I love getting out in the morning and it is so much fun being with someone else to enjoy nature with.
It is so hard to believe that we are halfway through June already and that summer is officially here. I am thankful for another day to walk in His ways, love others and cherish each moment and breath.
Find joy today!
Noreen

  1. Sounds like a great walk, gal!! You go girl!!

I am going to be working on some birdhouses myself...decorating them of course...not making them!

I am feeling much better and am trying to do catch up around here!
Always fun! Praising God that I am able-bodied!!

    Love you!
    Big hugs and blessings!

  2. Hi Noreen. Your garden tour looked so inspirational. We too are trying to come up with a creative way to do away with our backyard grass. Our area is in a drought, and the grass back there has never done well. We only have a smallish area of it back there, and are considering the artificial turf. I like your idea too. Hubby's bird house is darling!!!!
I sure do miss my morning jogs and walks with my friend. One day....
PS I am much better now, thank you so much for your kind words and thoughts!
    Hugs

  3. Absolutely delicious pictures, Noreen. I too, love the dry riverbed look! I wish we lived closer too. It's such fun to trade comments with you. Way to go on your 8 mile bike ride! I love biking, but I don't tend to go that far. I stationary bike in the winter and ride my bike around town when the weather is good. Bless you today.........Denise

  4. Your pictures are beautiful!! I have several beautiful bird houses that I decorate with. I love anything to do with birds! I miss my morning walks now that I work very early and can't walk in the mornings. I have to settle for late afternoon/evening walks. It is fun walking with a friend. I too, cherish each day and live it to the fullest. God is good!!! Love & blessings from NC!

  8. I love the birdhouse. And its great to get outdoors when the weather is fine. Right now in Oz it's cold and wet. But snuggling down under a blanket is good too :)
