Welcome to our home! Friday morning dawned bright and early and the very first garage sale we hit had this lovely wicker chair for sale. I have always loved wicker furniture, especially on the front porch, so I quickly grabbed this up....doesn't it look quite nice with the plant next to it?Hubby thinks it is a tad too small but I think it looks very welcoming!
This was advertised on a local Craig's List and it fits our patio area perfectly. We had looked at new sets but instead opted for this plus we did need to get new cushions for it...we are now set for dinner on the patio.
So you all know how much I love birds and bird houses~well one of my neighbors was changing out some of her decorations so I grabbed this plus one other to add to the top of our kitchen cabinets....I love how cute it is.Let me tell you that by Saturday noon this chick was done with going to more garage sales and it will be several weeks before we check out another one. Having a whole town participate for two days is quite exhausting and I wasn't even one of the homes selling things.

ReplyDeleteLOVE the wicker by the front door. Very welcoming indeed! I love wicker too. My set is actually made of a weather resistant material. Garage sales are fun. I am now looking for a patio table from Craig's List. I want an iron one though. The hunt is on.

I got some games even though I told myself no kid stuff.
I got taken away from them by my daughter who wanted me to go with her to take her daughter to dance up South. Probably saved me a bunch of money.

Looks like you got some wonderful deals. We need a new outside table set so bad. Ours only seats 4 and my family is 6 now...probably will get bigger!
