Family Field Trips

Yesterday the girls, the grands and I went up to the Lee Martinez farm and city park in Fort Collins. This is a wonderful working farm with goats, cows, horses, chickens and the children are able to get up close and personal. It was such a beautiful day and the kids loved petting all the animals.

Afterwards we enjoyed a picnic lunch and then the little ones played on the jungle gyms and climbing structures.
Even the babies seemed to enjoy being outside in the fresh air.
Tomorrow promises to get up into the 80's so I'm planning on spending the day outside planting and gardening.
Have a joy-filled weekend.
Hugs, Noreen

  10. Noreen,

I am going to have to do some digging here because I've been looking for a working farm to visit for quite some time. Until I get my own I want to enjoy the fruits of it on someone else's farm.

I was born in Co and lived in a few of the beautiful towns of that lovely state. We moved to NM when I was ten and then to Mt when I was 12. I have so many wonderful memories!
