I Can Only Imagine by Mercy Me
I can only imagine
What it will be like
When I walk
By Your side
I can only imagine
What my eyes will see
When Your face
Is before me
I can only imagine
[Chorus]:
Surrounded by Your glory, what will my heart feel
Will I dance for You Jesus or in awe of You be still
Will I stand in Your presence or to my knees will I fall
Will I sing hallelujah, will I be able to speak at all
I can only imagine
I can only imagine
When that day comes
And I find myself
Standing in the Son
I can only imagine
When all I will do
Is forever
Forever worship You
I can only imagine,
Barbara wore purple today as she entered the presence of the Lord. I will be forever grateful for her friendship and that with Christ there are no mistakes-He moved us right next door to her for a reason.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful song to celebrate the passing of a loved one. And what a beautiful color for your friend to wear - the color of royalty - as she enters her place in eternity as a child of the King!
ReplyDeleteBarbara is blessed to have had you as her dear friend. Friends like you are few and far between today.
Prayers for the family and hugs for you,
Deb

ReplyDeleteI am sorry for you and her family, Noreen. The song is beautiful and I'm sure she was too. Still the physical loss of a friend can be hard and a bit lonely.

Your tribute brought tears to my eyes...it is amazing how the Lord uses songs we have heard many many times to minister to us in our time of need...He did that for me, too when my Granddaddy went home...when I left the hospital, the first song on my player touched that spot deep down inside that needed extra loving care...I cried like a baby....
ReplyDeleteSweet Sweet Friend,
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry for your loss. Death of a loved one...whether it be family or friend...is never easy. My heart and prayers are with you and the families.
This is one of my favorite songs. I have it on my music player on my web site.
Love you,
Alleluiabelle
