A White Christmas

The snow began last evening around 9:00 p.m. and hasn't stopped. We were hoping that we'd have a white Christmas and it looks we will indeed.
I talked to my friend in Longmont and she thinks they had a bit less, probably 2", than we have.

This is a hard to see but we got around 8". We've been told it will continue through the day; my heart goes out to all those who have to travel today and tomorrow. This is nothing compared to the east coast and the midwest; I'm thankful for that.
Enjoy your day today my friends.
Merry Christmas!

  1. Wow!! It's lovely to look at, especially if you don't have to travel anywhere but I feel for those who are on the roads as it can be very dangerous!

We are having a wet, rainy day but the weather can change the same day here so we don't know what to expect from day to day :o)

Merry Christmas to you and yours, Noreen!

  2. Merry Christmas dear friend. Enjoy the snow. We are suppose to get a bunch starting late tonight and going well into Sat. Hugs and love

  3. Beautiful snowfall. I've heard the midwest will inherit some of the snow coming from the west. Our snow of last week, is all gone, with a thunderstorm that passed through this morning. Possible snow showers predicted for tomorrow and Christmas day.

Your family photo is absolutely beautiful!!

Merry Christmas and all the best in 2010!

  4. Beautiful snow, Noreen! I miss that part of Colorado (and the mtns) Will you be making snow angels? :) Is that John's golf flag in the yard? Sign of a true golf lover(my brother has one in his)Enjoy the snow!
    Love you,

  5. oh boy! lucky you! i spent all weekend digging out from our blizzard here in the East! You can finally see most roads and sidewalks now, lol!

  6. Merry Christmas to you too, Noreen.

and all those happy precious lil faces. They are all so adorable.
Bet yall will have a blast watching them with their toys.
And all that beautiful snow, definitely looks like Christmas there. We are having warmer weather than you that is for sure,
think we will be in the low 70's, pooh! cause it has been cooler lately. Oh well, we are used to it! lol
You have the Merriest of Christmas's my friend,
Love peace and joy to you and yours,

  7. Beautiful snow. Thanks for stopping by my friend. Merry Christmas! Nice to meet you.
Our doggie is a mix of Australian Shepherd and possibly a husky not sure.

  8. We have it too.
Not as much maybe, but it's still snowing...
I haven't seen you at my place much lately
I loved your family picture and the Birthday pictures
I know you are enjoying this special time with lots of family (Grands) well and your children (o:

  9. We still have about 8-10 inches on the's melting fast and making a muddy mess!!
More on the way this weekend!!

  10. I came over from Blue Ridge Boomers blog. I saw your comment and you signed saying "Have a BLESSED Christmas. I liked that!!

  11. Wow Nor'! Your snow is absolutely amazing! Our Christmas day is suppose to be in the 80's! If you need to thaw out, head on down!! I'll show you my beach!! LOL!!

What a delight to chat today! You have no idea how you bless my soul!!

May your Christmas be filled with joy, love, peace and HOPE!!
Love you this much... (you can see me holding my arms out real wide, right?) (smile!)
    Love and BIG hugs,

  12. It does look so pretty! And yes, I agree about those who have to travel. I almost wish that the weather would take a break the week of Christmas so everyone can get where they need to without any problems. Silly! Have a great Christmas!

  13. I'm almost wishing we got snow here in the winter, I would seriously swap with you, it's too hot and humid here.

  14. I haven't been by in a while but I couldn't pass the opportunity to wish you and your family much joy, laughter and love this Christmas!

    Your friend,

  15. A very Merry Christmas albeit a bit tardy!!

My you did have a white Christmas! We did too but just about 3 inches is all which was just fine with me!! The older I get the less snow I need!

Enjoy the rest of this weekend cherishing your time with family!
