A White Christmas

The snow began last evening around 9:00 p.m. and hasn't stopped. We were hoping that we'd have a white Christmas and it looks we will indeed.
I talked to my friend in Longmont and she thinks they had a bit less, probably 2", than we have.

This is a hard to see but we got around 8". We've been told it will continue through the day; my heart goes out to all those who have to travel today and tomorrow. This is nothing compared to the east coast and the midwest; I'm thankful for that.
Enjoy your day today my friends.
Merry Christmas!
Noreen

  1. Wow!! It's lovely to look at, especially if you don't have to travel anywhere but I feel for those who are on the roads as it can be very dangerous!

We are having a wet, rainy day but the weather can change the same day here so we don't know what to expect from day to day :o)

Merry Christmas to you and yours, Noreen!

  3. Beautiful snowfall. I've heard the midwest will inherit some of the snow coming from the west. Our snow of last week, is all gone, with a thunderstorm that passed through this morning. Possible snow showers predicted for tomorrow and Christmas day.

Your family photo is absolutely beautiful!!

Merry Christmas and all the best in 2010!

  12. It does look so pretty! And yes, I agree about those who have to travel. I almost wish that the weather would take a break the week of Christmas so everyone can get where they need to without any problems. Silly! Have a great Christmas!
