Hurrah, It's Done

For the last several weeks dear hubby and I have been helping our oldest daughter and her hubby lay hardwood flooring in the living room, eating area and kitchen. Prior to this, we had installed laminate that snaps together but had never put in the real thing. Although it took longer than we initially thought it was well worth the hard work and time because it looks beautiful. Hubby still needs to finish up trim work and paint the baseboard but it feels good to have this major project behind us.
Over the past week I was fighting a bout of allergies which ended up resulting in a bronchial cough so the last couple of days I've been really low on energy.

On another note, today we found out that the house we purchased should close at the end of the month and we are so very excited. There will be much to do in the next couple of weeks~more packing and of course thinking about furniture placement etc. It will be so good to be in our own home and not renting although we've been blessed with the house we are in.
Have a blessed day!
