Good Morning Friends, Once again I get to share all those blessings in my life with you.  A life made up of thanksgiving, gratitude and praise is a much happier life than a life spent grumbling, wouldn't you agree?
Today my good friend Lynn at http://unequalmarriage.typepad.com/ is hosting our TT, so stop by and say hello.  Lynn has been hosting TT for six years and has found that it is her time to focus on some other things; I want to thank Lynn for her love and encouragement over the years.  Lynn was one of the very first ladies I met online who has encouraged me more ways than I can count.  I wasn't even blogging when I got to know her; she has enriched my life so much. I've chatted with her on the phone but have not yet met her.  She will be missed in this one area but I'm thankful she isn't disappearing altogether-I'd have to fly out to Ca. and give her a talking to.
Today I'm thankful for the change in weather-no new snow but we are having fog and ice.  I'm thankful that the Lord has numbered my days and made my lot secure; I won't recklessly venture out when it would be foolhardy, but I will not be fearful either.
I am thankful that our whole gang is gathering here tonight for a birthday celebration, not only for our Carrie but also for her hubby and our other son-in-law.
I am thankful that hubby and I had such a wonderful time away and saw an area we hadn't before.  I am thankful for the hope of future trips.
I am thankful for our family and all the love we share.
I am thankful for our good friends Jim and Barb and the wonderful friends they are.
I am thankful for a good kennel-who is at our vets, so we can rest knowing Reggie was well taken care of.
I am thankful for my friend here, Kam and all the fun times we share; we are off to study this morning.
I am thankful for the body of Christ, that when gathered together in His name, He is there also.
I am thankful for Beth Moore and her studies.
I am thankful for the wonderful friends I've made here in blogland.
Blessings to each of you.  Noreen

Once again it is the day we stop and count our blessings, acknowledging that even in this uncertain world we can give thanks.  I can say that I am so thankful that our little Reggie is still doing well with no apparent indications of a brain tumor.  Now, I realize it may be like this until we are forced to make a decision but for now, I'm so grateful.  When our vet gave us the time frame, he said 3-4 weeks and it's been 8 weeks; I guess that is why they call it the Practice of (vet)Medicine.  As with people, there is only One who numbers our days and I am blessed by this day.  I am thankful that hubby and I went to the movies yesterday; it was raining and a golf outing was cancelled so we took in a show.  We saw The Debt; it was good-good acting and pretty intriguing.  I am so thankful that our oldest and her family are starting home from their vacation today; I can't wait to see them all! I am thankful that our youngest and I canned another forty pounds of peaches Sunday night and we are now done with peaches and will just wait for apples to appear and then will can alot of applesauce.  I am thankful that both our girls have continued on in this skill, thus supplying the needs of their families.  I am thankful for two days of rain and the possibility it might rain in Texas.  So many dear blogging friends are being impacted by the fires; I well remember what the threat of fire was like when we lived near open space in Ca.
I am thankful for the all day Beth Moore simulcast that I am going to on Sat. with two friends.
I am thankful we are getting the family calf on Sat. and will learn much about animal care with her.
I am thankful it isn't raining because I like to walk when it's a bit nicer.
I am thankful for His love, poured out on us.  How about you, what are you thankful for today?

Happy Thursday friends~Do you ever have those mornings that are just a bit slower than others?  This morning I'm feeling a bit tired although I didn't miss any sleep.  Iris is hosting TT so please pop over and say hello.  You can find her at http://www.eph2810.com/ Today, I am especially thankful for this earthly vessel I reside in.  When we are young, we often don't give any thought to the things are body is able to do easily; you know running, playing sports and other various things that are so commonplace. As we age though, we find our limitations and often our bodies can dictate just what things we can participate in and want to participate in.  When hubby and I were first married we not only water skiied every weekend but also laid cement, built fences, put a roof on our home and did whatever was needed.  We played softball, racquet ball, tennis, rode our bikes and hiked.  When I was in my 40's I injured my back and when I asked the doctor how it could have happened he said that it wasn't just this one thing but a host of things I had been doing when I was younger.  I tell you I didn't give a second thought to lifting heavy items such as rocks or cement but I sure paid for it later.
Today, I am thankful for this frail body I reside in with all its peculiarities and weaknesses.  I am thankful for a best friend who needs to walk her dog every day and lets me tag along.  I am thankful for this friend who also does the weight strengthening exercises-some of which we hate-so that our bones won't get any weaker and maybe get stronger.  Love you Kam and am so thankful for you!  I am thankful for my sweet man, who despite continual pain in his neck from bad discs, never complains but will press through the pain to play golf and ride bikes.  I am thankful for two legs that work, for walks in a beautiful area with a view of the Rockies and for long bike rides.  I am thankful for the struggle with gaining a few pounds because it means I have enough to eat each day.  I am thankful for this body, despite the fact that it doesn't look like it did when I was young, it is still functioning well.
I am thankful for life.  Abundant life.  Sanctified Life.  Eternal Life.
How about you?
Enjoy your day today friends. Noreen
