Happy New Year's Eve to you. If you thought yesterday was cold here in Colorado, it was quite nice compared to this morning. At 6:45 am the temperature was -20; you got that right, -20. Now this is cold. So cold, if we didn't have to venture out this morning, I'd be staying in bed! Today will be another relaxed day here at home and tonight will sound boring to many of you. Hubby and I have always enjoyed staying up til the New Year, but since we've retired we are always in bed by 11:00. We listen to the fireworks, but just aren't interested in staying up; if our card partners from Ca. were with us, we would though.
I hope you have a great last day of 2014 and that whatever you do tonight you'll be safe for the New Year.
It has been a joy this last year, may the next year be fulfilling, joy and love filled, healthy and exciting.
Blessings,
Noreen

This is definitely an "indoor day" here, too. Except for a 2-miler with the girls. BRRRRR!

WOW, it's cold at your house. I don't blame you a bit for staying in to celebrate the arrival of our new year. I pray you will be blessed beyond measure in the coming year.
ReplyDeleteDH and I are both officially old ... our normal bedtime is 9:00-ish. I know that we won't even try to ring in the new year.
ReplyDeleteOh my, that is cold! Makes our single digit sound downright balmy! Brrrr. Stay warm, my friend ... and happy new year!!
It has warmed up here to -4C. Not bad for this time of the year. Stay warm.

That is chilly it has only been a few degrees warmer here. We don't complain until it gets below -30, but that is because we are Canadian and we will have a week or two at -40 where we live.
ReplyDeleteStay warm.
Wishing you all a happy and healthy 2015!

Noreen, My late nights and ringing in the new year days are over...I just don't see any sense in staying up late to make racket. LOL. I am wishing everyone a safe and happy new year. I wish you and your husband a Healthy one too. I feel that if I can stay healthy, then I will be happy. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteOne of the great joys I had in 2014 was meeting you in blogland! Praying your 2015 brings health, happiness and great blessings! xoxo Cindy
ReplyDeleteIt's really cold here too, but no where near what you folks are experiencing.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a fabulous Christmas surrounded by your many blessings. Happy New Year to you and your family.
Sorry about that cold weather. We've been very warm down here and hit 85 on Christmas Day. Somehow it just doesn't feel like Christmas and I miss that. Wishing you a very Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteIts turned cold here, not like yours, but cold enough! And we're not much for staying up either--And I'm okay with that. :-)
