Happy Monday~I hope you had a wonderful weekend; ours was so full, but with fun activities.
I will tell you that I went to the dentist on Friday and he confirmed my idea of what was happening with my crown and gums-I have an abscess and need a root canal. I've been taking my antibiotic, but my gum is still pretty swollen; at least it isn't painful. I am bummed!!!  However, it seems that technology has improved since I had my last one in Ca.  It sounds like it will be a fairly quick procedure-only an hour and should be an easier recovery than last time; I can only hope!
Saturday found hubby and I Christmas shopping-we got a majority of it done.  In the afternoon we headed down to Longmont to pick up a children's kitchen that our daughter found on Craigs List.
In the evening, we went over to our oldest daughter's to celebrate two of their girls birthdays; they are three weeks apart and it is just easier having one party.  Yesterday, hubby and I went to some friends for a football party; thankfully the Bronco's won; we enjoyed the food and game.
Today, I had hope to upload some photos here, but need to get out and run some errands.  I didn't sleep much last night, so feel a bit slow today.
I hope you are enjoying the holiday season-what is your favorite part or tradition that just makes Christmas?

  2. Glad your weekend had some fun. Hopefully your dental procedure will not be horrid.I dread the dentist...always have...but so much more now that something is truly wrong with my teeth. I think it's like dry mouth. Scary. Oh some nights I sleep very little. Blessings for a good day. xoxo,Susie

  3. Good luck with the dentist. We had a busy weekend too and most of our Christmas things are now done so we can start to enjoy the season. Have a marvellous Monday.
    Best wishes Molly

  4. Oh No- a root canal...they are never easy no matter what they say. lol

My favorite tradition is baking cookies with the girls...xo Diana

  5. Sorry to hear about the root canal. Only had 1 so far but did not enjoy it one little bit. But honestly I don't think it took more then an hour and my recovery wasn't too bad. I have an appointment tomorrow with another broken tooth. I am afraid it is going to be another crown. Soo expensive even with insurance. Not what I feel like dealing with during December. I will pray yours goes well. My favorite tradition is going to this place out here called the Candlelight Pavillion which is a dinner along with a Christmas play. It is more for the kids and we take a different group of grandkids every year. Lots of music and dancing and fun. Hope you have a good week!

  6. Hi Noreen, sorry about the tooth but hopefully the procedure will be quick and painless! Isn't technology great?!?! I've barely done any shopping but I'm just not going to stress about it this year! Have a great week! Blessings, Cindy

  7. Oh you poor thing! I have had to have a couple of root canals and I hope I won't need any more. Good luck with all of that!!!
Are you ready for Christmas? Not me!!!
    XO Kris
