Happy Happy Birthday Mr. J

This photo isn't new but I cherish it~our oldest grandson hanging out with our youngest.  Cousins, but I am praying they'll have a deep relationship. Today our oldest grandson turns 12; I seem to keep saying "where do the years go?". Our boy is such an incredible young man; filled with love of family-young and old alike, a thinker, engineer with a heart of gold.  His faith goes deep and he loves to help others-whether moving boxes if someone is moving or volunteering to help with gardening.  Last week he helped his mom by shampooing the carpet after Hunter and then Lily had accidents from the flu.  One trait that sticks out to many is his love for children, especially babies.  He is always there to help, without any thought of what he was doing. I remember him holding a newborn sibling and helping when he was just a 6-8 yr old; it hasn't changed.
I can't wait to see what the Lord has for you buddy; I know you've got an incredible future ahead of you.
We love you so much and are so proud of you!

  3. Yes, time really flies. My oldest grand turned 11 last month. Seems like it was just yesterday that I held him in my arms for the first time. I'm sure you feel the same way with your 12-y.o. ;-)
