Happy Friday to you all. Well, we had a very beautiful week filled with sunshine and a taste of spring but alas this morning at 4:00 am it began snowing. A winter storm warning was in effect as of last night at midnight. Our old dog, Reggie, wasn't feeling too well during the night so I was up with him four times while he went outside.
Today we plan to stay inside and enjoy a very relaxed day unless we get a call from our daughter saying it is time for her to go to the hospital. Last evening we visited with our friends and they sent us home with four puzzles; when the weather is cold or snowy we enjoy doing them. I imagine we will start one this morning sometime. I absolutely love our winters here and the snow~partially because we can hunker down inside and enjoy it without needing to be out in it. But spring has been in the air, I've been anxious to get some trees for the back yard and buy some new bird feeders but this will have to wait; possibly another month. I am thankful my brother and his wife came for their visit last weekend so we could enjoy nice weather and do some site seeing.
We don't have much planned for the weekend, I think a lot depends on our weather.
Whatever you do, enjoy it!
Hugs, Noreen

  2. Oh Sweetie...
Not snow. Oh I will be soaking up some rays for you this morning. We have had 80 degree temps all week and another one today is expected. I have much gardening to get accomplished today. It is on my agenda anyway.

Hope you stay warm, and enjoy those puzzles. Wish I were there, as I love puzzles too. I start one on our table and go to work, throughout the day as the kids stop by, they keep adding pieces, and by the time I get home from work there is a whole lot more of the puzzle done. (It is like a miracle. They too can not resist adding a piece of two.) I laugh to myself because for so many bodies that do not like puzzles they sure enjoy mine.

Stay warm sweetie and have a beautiful day. Country hugs, Sherry

  3. Well dear friend, I'm sharing the snow with you. It's trying very hard here to snow. We've had a few odd flakes. I'm hoping we don't get anything too serious as most of our snow is now gone. Hugs

  10. Hi Again Noreen,
Just in case you don't catch it I left a comment on your St. Patricks Post. Can't believe you have snow again, but you are right it is so
nice to be nestled in with no place to go and just enjoy the time with your hubby.
We are definitely having spring weather here and it is glorious I have to say. We sat out in the sun yesterday for a bit, and I felt like my body was just drinking it all in, and made you feel good all over. So glad you did have some good weather there for a bit before you got the snow again. You will just get to enjoy spring all over again in a week or so!! lol That will be fun, like having spring twice or maybe more!! lol
Enjoyed your thankful thursday list, I too, hope our nation will realize we have left our
roots of christianity and start to make a move towards their heavenly Father!!
You have a very blessed weekend!
    Love and blessings, Nellie

  14. Hi Noreen,
I have a 6 foot fence around our 3 acres. The coons are outside the fence and Bambi is in the fence and Bambi will not go outside the fence even if the back gate is open!! She is such a good girl!!
At times when the coons are fussing
with eachother she will bark at them. But they could care less. lol They are not afraid of her after a few days.
    Thanks for your visit, Fern
