Fabulous Friday

It's hard to believe that Friday is here already and that September is right around the corner.
Where has the summer gone? Oh yes, it has been spent painting and moving...and yes we loved every minute of it. We are still not totally finished with the touch ups as yesterday was not a work day. I had granddaughter and hubby was down at Children's holding the youngest baby girl.
I did want to thank you all for your prayers for our Peanut. Although we don't have the results of the tests yet, I will tell you that the procedure went well compared to last year. The initial results should be back next week and then the other results will take several weeks. Our daughter and sil did find out that our Peanuts acid output, last year, was sky high and that she would have reflux every three minutes. NO wonder the girl was miserable and crying all the time. I can't imagine it as an adult, let alone a toddler. Our prayers are that she would be healed of this or grow out of it but that many would see the faithfulness of our God. Today they will be released from the hospital and head home. I also want to thank you for your prayers for Linny's family and for Jubilee. This family is such an example of perseverance and faith. Pop on our to Linny's if you didn't read her post from yesterday.
Hubby and I will continue to work on our house, finishing one room at a time and then moving to the next. I'm so ready to be over there but trying to just finish up things before we move in.
What are your plans for the weekend? May the joy of the Lord be your strength today.
Weekend Blessings, Noreen

  1. Hi Noreen,
Glad to hear that the test went well even though the results aren't back yet. And I read the blog post about Jubilee. I really pray they will be able to have the doors open to adopt her.

I had my friend Helen visiting overnight while Greg was in San Francisco. We even exercised together this morning. So, I've been offline but am getting back on as soon as she leaves.

    Hugs to you,
    Debbie

  2. It really is a blessing in a way that you can do one room at a time and not be in a giant hurry to move in. We have done that where you want to do some inprovements before you move in...but you only have 24 hours... yikes. I am to old for that!
So glad the tests seemed to go well. Hope they find out what they need to know to help her.

  4. Hi Noreen,
Am so sorry to hear about your lil
grandaughter and that awful acid reflux problem. That is a miserable thing. I had it happen to me a couple of times and I can't imagine a contant ongoing problem with it. My lil nephew Bryson also has that at times too.
Never heard of such a thing before.
Will sure be praying for the Lord
to heal this problem so she can be
a happy healthy lil girl. Yes, no
wonder she cries all the time and is miserable. Can't imagine.
So glad yall are coming to the end
of your moving situation, I know you will be glad to be in the new
place. That is exciting and fun getting settled in and deciding where to put everything. It is nice to have been able to do it slowly.
    Take care dear one,
    Love and blessings,
    Nellie
