Good morning friends! What a great weekend we had~it began with our whole crew coming over to help. One sil and his family, pregnant daughter included, moved our garage things over and helped finish moving my sewing room over as well. The other sil helped hubby with yet more painting and our other daughter helped where needed with putting boxes in the appropriate place. Are we done yet? No but getting closer. Sat. eve we attended a Rockies baseball game in Denver; they are playing the San Francisco Giants(our old home team) and we had a blast. It was one of the best games we've ever seen and although it didn't look good at the beginning the Rockies won...go team. Sunday we ran errands and had dinner, a fish fry, at some good friends house with another couple.
As always, I love how the Lord does this for me, I woke up with a song of praise in my head...so here it is for you today.
Lord You Are Beautiful by Rebecca St James
Lord You're beautiful Your face is all I seek
For when your eyes are on this child Your grace abounds to me (repeat)
I want to take your word
And shine it all around First help me just to live it Lord
And when I'm doing well
Help me to never seek a crown For my reward is giving glory to you
Lord please light the fire
That once burned bright and clear
Replace the lamp of my first love
That burns with holy fear I want to take your word
And shine it all around
First help me just to live it Lord
And when I'm doing well
Help me to never seek a crown
For my reward is giving glory to you
Lord you're beautiful Your face is all I seek
For when your eyes are on this child
Your grace abounds to me I can see your face now I can feel your grace now (repeat)
It's all I seek It's all I seek © 1998 Forefront
May you seek His face above all else today.
Be blessed.

Sounds like you are well on the way. Daughter went to the Rockies yesterdsay and was soooo hot. They were sitting on a bad side to hear the music at the end so they only stayed for a few songs. I had a nice lazy weekend (o:

Hello Noreen,
ReplyDeleteI have just spent the last twenty minutes savoring and catching up on what you have been doing. I had to laugh about your requirements for camping, just like mine. We used to camp but haven't in years. I just love it, but always had these two requirement, showers and a toilet that flushes. LOL
I love your laundry room, girl, could I have a good time in there all that room!!!!
The blue you have chosen for your wall in the family room is so peaceful, and the carpet color just puts it altogether, and the seascape picture is perfect too. Well my goodness I sound almost as excited as you about your new home!1 You have come a long way baby!!
That was the biggest hawk I have ever seen, we have them here but not that big, you all must have more for them to eat than what we do. LOL
And like you I am so thankful for the friendships that God has provided for me here in blogland. If someone had told me a year ago that I would be talking with a friend who lives in Colorado, whom I have never met in person. I would have just shook my head in disbelief!! God Is Awesome!!
I am so glad that you all took some time to relax, this weekend! Now that the weekend is over just get right back to work and show us some more progress! LOL.
Blessings,
Sue
mmm... praising Him with you!!! The house is coming along beautifully, Noreen!
ReplyDeleteProgress!!! Yeah! You will be in before you know it.
ReplyDeleteOur son and grandson were at that same Rockies game. Small world!
I love that song! Thanks for reminding me of the beautiful words.
It's been an amazing time these 7 days,,LOTS of storms and battles,,lol,,but praise God He is greater than ANY STORM OR BATTLE we may face!!!! We are MORE than conqueror's in Christ Jesus. God has prepared me these 7 days of prayer for Lisa and all of you for the journey I am on right now for 40 days....didn't know I would be on this journey of 40 days when I felt the Lord placing on my heart to pray for Lisa and all of you,, but HE DID!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for stopping by AND for following me ((hugs))
