Crazy Days

Today through Sunday our Chamber of Commerce and local newspaper sponsors the garage sale that people from all around, including Wyoming, come to. I counted up the locations around town and there are 65 garages sales listed; I'm sure there are more that will take advantage of the free advertising from their neighbors. For some reason we didn't go out looking last year but you can bet I'm hitting the houses bright and early today; hubby and I are always on the hunt for antiques as well as good bargains. Now that our oldest and her family will have acreage I'll be looking for riding lawn mowers as well. My girls are great thrift shoppers-always after a good deal so I think I'll take them along as well; last weekend when I bought the antique wine glasses and mirror they both came away with little girls dresses that looked brand new. If any of my fellow bloggers from No.Co. come up, make sure you keep an eye out for me.
Whatever your plans are for the weekend, have a relaxed lazy summer day!
Blessings,
Noreen

  1. Dear friend, hope you find some great treasures. I haven't hit a yard sale yet this year only because we plan on a big move next year. I love garage sales though and do miss them. Hugs and have a wonderful time.
