Happy Friday to you!  Where or where has the week gone?  Each day I planned on sitting down, writing a post and then getting around to each of you; somehow those plans just didn't come together.
My week in a nutshell doesn't sound busy~Monday I had my friend over for lunch, Tuesday I had a quilt class at a local store and then a lunch afterwards at Pannera's, Wednesday I walked with Kam and had sewing with two granddaughters in the afternoon, yesterday I walked with some neighbors(let me tell you that I thought I walked fast, until I walked with them-I'm thinking they do a 11-12 min. mile), then had sewing with two other granddaughters in the afternoon.  Today I am off bright and early to our development's garage sales.  I'm hoping to find a office chair for my sewing room so I can give hubby's back to him for the garage; I also would love to find some outside decorations or pots.  This afternoon I've got to get Hunter into the vet for his yearly checkup; thankfully no shots this year.  Our weather has been nicer, with some warmth but also some clouds in the evening. I'm hoping it will stay warm today!  This weekend is totally open, so I'm thinking we may end up spending some time with our girls and their families.  It is hard to believe many schools are having graduations already; all I know is that we are ready for the warm weather to stay and the neighborhood pool to open.
I hope you find some time to do something you enjoy today and this weekend-something that makes you embrace and appreciate life.

  1. I can't believe the public schools are done for the school year. Wouldn't it make more sense to start school a week or two later ... they'd still be done by around Memorial Day. Crazy. DD has about a week and a half left of school for the Ts.

  2. Noreen, You have been busy. It all sounds like it was fun. You are getting exercise with your friends too. Blessings for a fun weekend, xoxo, Susie

  3. Hi Noreen, you really have had a busy week.It sounds like all good things happening though and that is perfect. We are having thunder storms these next few days so am looking forward to lighting the candles and the fire and just listening. I love this kind of weather if it doesn't stick around too long..Happy Weekend..Hope you got some good things at the sale..Judy

  4. We hope you don't get the windy weather we are having here! The temps are good but the winds spoil it. Me and Stanley went running today and then got baths. We are glad Hunter got a good report from the dogtur!

  5. All the grandchildren finished school this week, so Mom's days will be super busy now that she is back on summer duty:) We are going to be so happy to have all those little feet back visiting:)

  6. My granddaughter's schools got out on Thursday. I'm really excited to have all three of them on Thursday's through out the summer. Then just one more year with the youngest before she starts kindergarten. I have no idea of what I will do with my Thursday's once she starts school. I've been keeping 1, 2, or all 3 of them on Thursday and Saturday for nearly 12 years. I do hope you are enjoying great weather this weekend! It was windy and cooler here today. 92 instead of 99. But the breeze did help! May God Bless you and your dear family! Cindy xo

  7. I wonder too where the week gets to! How did it go so fast? LOL! Hope you had some wonderful finds at the yard sales, those are always fun! :)
