CU's mascot is Ralphie the Buffalo and they actually run him on the field before the game. They ran him this year at half time too; let me tell you he is one big boy! There are two people on each side of him with ropes and one fellow in the back who is just hanging on. Ralphie is one fast Buff.
We played well the first half of the game; much better than two years ago and it made it so fun to watch. However, the second half wasn't as good-we got creamed! Needless to say there was no hope of a comeback so we left before the end of the game to try to beat traffic-lol-everyone else tried that too. We found a nice sports grill near the airport and had an early dinner with my brother and sil.
It was sad to see them go, but we are so thankful for all the time we get to spend with them. They are so generous to us and such easy guests-truly they are a huge blessing to all of us.
Today will be a day filled with errands and quiet-when I get home, I'll be sewing.
I hope your week starts out on a good foot.
Blessings~

Noreen, It's amazing how big buffalo really are. So good that there was a tribute to our vets. My daughter will be a vets' day for her class. The children love it. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteWhat special times with your brother and SIL! I hope that the house doesn't feel too empty today, after such a fun busy time this past weekend! :)

Well, our LSU Tigers lost too and to none other than Alabama. Ugh! But, that's life, someone has to loose and someone has to win. Sounds like a fun weekend with family.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun you all had. I'm sure you're looking forward to the next time you all can get together.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun time. Wow, that bull is something else!
