Outdoor Tuesday

Another beautiful day and a great reason to celebrate life! My friend Aletha is very into clouds and often was heard to say "Colorado has incredible clouds", so thought I'd share some scenes.  This was taken on Friday, loved the formation.

Somewhere driving through Utah or Wyoming on our trip home.
It is hard to believe that fall is almost here and from what we hear, California is going to get hit with lots of rain due to Godzilla El Nino, the USATODAY reported.  If this forecast is correct, they will receive as much rain as they did in 1997-98.  They certainly need the rain, but don't need the flooding.
I haven't checked the Farmer's Almanac yet to see what Colorado's forecast is.
I hope you get outside today and enjoy your area, even if just for a quick walk.
Hugs,
Noreen

  1. Praying that California gets that rain (just not so much that they have flooding). Those are some gorgeous pictures you've shared.

  6. I love clouds too! Yes we need the rain but not the flooding which comes after those fires where all the brush is gone. I got myself new tires preparing for El Nino, although it was time for some new ones......

  7. 1997 was the summer that my hubby, boys and I spend (7 months) in Jackson Hole, WY. The weather was so crazy, wet, snowy, landslides, cold, definitely an El Nino year. The town we used to live in near Lake Tahoe had a horrible flood with friends losing everything they owned, but not their lives! I've heard it's supposed to be that way again, I too pray they get rain, but not the horrendous flooding and damage! I hope you are enjoying this season! Blessings, Cindy xoxo
