This morning, after a day and a half of snowing; the drifts are piled high in our back yard and it is colder and windier than yesterday. It is supposed to keep snowing for most of the day and I believe most of the schools in Colorado are closed. Tonight we are supposed to have both families over to celebrate our two sil's birthdays(tomorrow)but we may have to postpone our get together~time will tell. Wherever you are and whatever weather you're experiencing today enjoy it.

Oh My Goodness Nananor:
ReplyDeleteWe have sunshine today here in Phoenix, and cooler temps, but thank goodness no snow. I really do not like the COLD weather. That is the main reason we moved to Phoenix for the Fall and Winter and even Spring seasons. The Summers are really tolerable after we have had the wonderful mild other seasons. I would say you are in for a chili or stew supper with this kind of weather. Poor Trick or Treaters. It had better do some mighty quick warming before Saturday or there will not be many out at all. Country hugs sweetie, and thanks for sharing today. Love, Sherry
Fianlly catching up on your blog! I love your snow pictures! I just took some today as well. It's a good thing we aren't getting together this week! Hopefully, it will be much nicer next week when you, Grammy, and I meet.
ReplyDeleteAnother grandbaby! What a blessing!
And I do hope the new treatment for "Peanut" has a positive outcome.
On cooking at this altitude, I rarely change any of the recipes that I use from cookbooks. If you call your county home extension agent, I think they have a high altidude cooking booklet.
Stay warm!
Seems too early for that much snow!! Hope you're keeping warm! Enjoy the beauty!!

ReplyDeleteWe've woken up (here in MN) to 3 days in October with snow. Today it's raining......but soon enough the snow will come.
Whenever you have your gathering, I know it will be a WONDERFUL time.
Stay warm my friend.

How beautiful. It seems so early for snow. Burrrrr is right though, it sure makes me cold looking at it. I wore short sleeves today so that just doesn't compute. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteWell, I just can't imagine that much snow in October...this southern gal never gets to experience that lovely sight...but our autumn trees are looking beautiful....
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty sight. I love freshly fallen snow. Hugs and love.
ReplyDeleteYou have more than us! That's fine with me.. I will share with you.
ReplyDeleteIt's also bitter cold here. 22* last night and suppose to warm up to 40* today. That will put the melt on.

ReplyDeleteBlessings Noreen to you and yours :o)
Aww, thanks for sharing dear sister. I love you and praying for you.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had more snow than we did, but what a mess while it was snowing - it took me 2 hours to get to work on Thursday. But what a beautiful day it was today. Hope you got your birthday celebration in.
