Happy 16

Good Morning to you!  Our oldest grandson turned 16 on Friday~I wonder where the years have gone!
We had a wonderful party for him and because he's got such a great sense of humor, we made him wear snow gloves to unwrap his card and presents; this is a game I play at the Women's Fellowship Christmas party each year.  It is so hard to do and I told him, no teeth, knives, feet etc. could be used, just his hands.  It took him quite awhile, but I know he was pleased when he realized what he got.  On
Saturday all the guys in the family headed up to Estes Park for an adventure~they rented an extended ATV and went off roading in the snow and mud.  They all had a great time, despite the cold weather.  It is so fun that they can do fun activities like the girls do.  Actually all the girls went out to lunch and then did a little shopping afterward.  After I got home, I headed out as I needed a new top and shoes for the Memorial Ceremony at the end of the month.  All in all everyone had a great day!
I hope you had a fun weekend as well.  Tomorrow I'll be posting more photos of Ireland-to get you in the mood for St. Patrick's Day.
Joy to you!

  1. Noreen, What a handsome grandson. The years get away from us, it seems. That must have been a fun time for the fellows. Making memories. Blessings to all, xoxo, Susie

  2. What fun (mittens!), I need to remember this! Where does the time go? I blame blinking-- a few too many blinks and they're halfway grown! Hugs to you, my friend, have a blessed week!
