Greetings on this fine Monday! This weekend was jam packed for hubby and I; he began painting our office, attached bath and closet on Thursday and it is now done and looks so nice. We've needed to paint areas of the house since we moved in, but you know how that goes. Out of the blue last week, hubby announced we were going to paint. Mind you, I only had a few rooms but he insisted if we are going to paint, we'll paint everything. On Saturday evening, he called and said he got free tickets to the semi-pro hockey game~so he came home, picked me up and we went. Sunday morning we joined two other couples from our street(I walk with the gals)and met for breakfast. Then after that we headed to a local farm for a harvest celebration. Our realtor holds it every year in appreciation for his clients. We met our daughter Kim there with her family; it was fun, every one comes away with a pumpkin-so Kim went home with 7 pumpkins plus what they grew themselves.
She will utilize them for freezing etc. I have some nice photos, but for some reason I can get them to upload, but no picture shows. We did watch the Bronco's game and was a bit disappointed in it.
Today, we put the office back together and hubby is now off playing golf. Tonight we are going to look at a antique Treadle with two machines and parts. Hubby spotted it on the web and since we know what they usually sell for, we decided to connect with the seller and see if they are as nice as they looked online.
I have some things to do around the house this afternoon, but I'd really love to just sit and read.
I hope you are enjoying the changing season!
Joy to you,
Noreen

Noreen, The weekend sounds like it was certainly busy but lots of fun too. I need to paint a bit around here....but I don't even want to think about it. Maybe this winter I may change my mind. LOL. Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeletePainting is always really nice once it's done! Did Hunter help? His tail is a natural paintbrush BOL!
