Happy Wednesday to you!
I'm having a hard time getting my photos in the correct chronological order, so I'm just going to start with my 10th grade high school photo-the year when heavy black makeup was in. I can't believe I was able to get out of the house like this; must have been because my older sister(13 yrs older than I was) wore heavy makeup. In fact, I think she probably taught me how to apply it. Ugh!
This photo was from 5th or 6th grade-one of my favorite photos.
Next is my 11th grade, hippie era photo. I'm much happier seeing less makeup. Over the years, my sister continued to wear Liz Taylor type eye makeup, while I went more natural.
My high school graduation photo. My mom had other poses she liked more, but I choose this one. I wonder what the other poses looked like.
I look at my grands now and try to see if any resemble me.
I hope you have a great day; we are running errands all day and visiting friends tonight.
Smile, it is contagious.
Noreen
I'd forgotten all about those various phases/styles from back in the day. I'm not sure that I'm as brave as you are to be sharing my H.S. pictures.
ReplyDeleteOh I love seeing old photos. How pretty you were as a young girl! Your high school graduation picture looked very similar to mine. Long hair parted down the middle, lol. I see definite resemblances though I am not sure which one it is to. Enjoy your day Noreen
ReplyDeleteGreat seeing those and funny how fashions change so much as does are tastes. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Oh Noreen you are so pretty, great pictures. You could tell you were a kind girl even back then.

I love looking at old pictures of others but I sure don't like dragging mine out. You were so pretty and continue to be a beautiful woman.....Have fun with your friends.
ReplyDeleteHi Noreen,
ReplyDeleteYou were a cute then, and still a cutie today..........
It is fun to look back at old pics isn't it. We do that every so often on an Anniversary or special event.
Blasts from the past are good, shows us how far we
have come and whence we have come........
My step sister used to use all that heavy eyeliner too.
I could never get it on straight, so never wore it.......
I am a more natural make up girl as well.
Hope you are doing well hon,
Blessings, Nellie
I love them all, but that hippy shot is so cute! Have fun tonight with friends. I know its getting closer, and you are trying to get everything in order.
ReplyDeletehave to tell you, in EVERY photo you are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHi There! I am coming over from Nancy's blog.
ReplyDeletewhat a fun wander through the years with you! Your high school photo really highlights your hair, it's so long!!
I never really figured out how to use makeup either. My daughter does a nice job with hers, but I have no idea how she learned. On her wedding day, she did my makeup and it looked great!
Nice to meet you :)

ReplyDeleteHi Noreen - thank you for the comment on my blog post. I am going to go over and find your email on your profile, and send you an email.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures of the schoolgirl-you!
These were fun to look at Noreen. I think I had a very similar hairstyle for my senior photo.
