At the last preschool I taught at in California, they had an incredible selection of unusual games and toys and this game was one of them. The children loved it and because it is a German game I wasn't familiar with it; when we got ready to move I located it and although it was pricey I bought it for Christmas for our grands.
That year most of them were too young to get the concept, it is more for children 3+. Now however whenever we have a get together here, that is the game that the little ones want to play. Even the bigger boys, ages 9 and 7, love it. It has directions in 10 different languages and is very simple to play and the children love saying loudly, "oh no it's the Crow". I know there are many grandparents, as well as parents, that need to start thinking about Christmas gifts and I would highly recommend this game. I just checked online and it is available at several sights, just remember the longevity of the game will out weigh the cost of it.
Have a delightful weekend.

my grandbabies LOVE games so this would be a great Christmas gift.
ReplyDeleteEli will play monopoly every day - he is only 5, but he can beat me every time - HA!
love to you Noreen - you are such a HUGE blessing to me always!
How delightful. If I had grandkids I would certainly buy one. I'll save this for future reference. Blessings, Kathy
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, I hadn't realized that you taught preschool. Although I don't have children, I love them and enjoy my nieces and nephews. I also taugth ages 2-5 in BSF for seven years. I have been offered a job to teach three year olds at a private school. I meet with the human resource person this coming week so I'll let you know what happens.

Hi Noreen!! I'm catching up on your blog posts and your weekend sounds like a lot of fun! I know it all will be a great time and I hope at the end of it, you have time to maybe play a game! ~Enjoy!!~
ReplyDeleteYou reminded me of a game which we played many years ago while visiting friends in Canada called Stock Ticker. It was an absolute hit but directed probably for the slightly older kids. Our friends sent us the game and whenever the family are together it's the one game that comes out of the cupboard. Enjoyed so much that most of our family and extended family have managed to pick up a set from some of the online auction sites. Great memories. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great gift idea! I don't have grandkids, but hopefully it won't be too long. Then I'll have to remember this!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great game...we have plenty of grandchildren who enjoy games too.
