Morning Peeps~I hope you are enjoying some nice weather; last night the snow returned and is continuing to fall this morning. It is very wet, something we call "Sierra Sludge" because it reminds us of California snow. Being so wet makes it so much harder to shovel; I will say that the roads are clear, due to the warmth of the pavement.
Here is my last bunch of photos from our warm winter get away.
This Cliff Dwelling is called Montezuma's Castle; I visited it about 15 yrs ago and I remembered it being much bigger than it really is. That may be in part because I've been to Mesa Verde and everything else is dwarfed compared to it.
The sky was overcast and so these pics aren't as vibrant as they would have been on a hot, sunny day-hope you enjoy them anyway.
I just love the red rock!
After having a wonderful lunch at a local shopping center, we strolled through the gardens. Here are a few pictures of sculptures we wish we could have brought home.
I hope you've enjoyed out get away; seeing these photos makes me want to explore some more of Az. To all my blogger buddies who live there, feel free to share the names of more treasures so that next visit we'll have lots of adventures.
Joy To You!
