After we got back into AC in the car, we drove down about five minutes and stopped at Sprague Lake; it was such a fast and easy hike. After we left the park, we stopped in Estes for a water drink and then headed back down the mountain so we could stop at Costco.
It was a a wonderful day and so fun just to get out and do some hiking. Although I walk daily and work out, the change in elevation gets to me. Have to do it more!
Hope you have a great week.
Blessings,
Noreen
How fortunate you are to live so close to RMNP and Estes Park! We love it there; our favorite vacation spot! Your talk of Sprague Lake brings back memories. Two years ago we were walking there and I made a comment to a fellow walker about her jacket. Turns out, she was a former coworker of my husband's (from Iowa, all of us).
ReplyDeleteParadise! I love RMNP and Estes Park! You are blessed to live close by. We only get out every 2 or 3 years. Enjoy the rest of summer.
