Officially Veteran's Day was Saturday but the legal holiday is Monday. So very grateful for all those, past and present, who have served in the Armed Forces protecting our country and have sacrificed so much giving us the freedoms we enjoy.

We had a very touching service at church today when we presented a (rather large) check to the local veterans' nursing home. They use the money to supplement their recreational program. This is the 10th year our church has done it.
